أعلن الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس، الخميس، وقف العمل بجميع الاتفاقيات الموقعة مع اسرائيل، في قرار غير مسبوق على وقع التوترات المتصاعدة بين الجانبين.

وقال عباس عقب اجتماع طارئ عقدته القيادة الفلسطينية في مقر الرئاسة برام الله في الضفة الغربية، اليوم (25 تموز 2019) إنه "أمام إصرار سلطة الاحتلال على التنكر لجميع الاتفاقيات الموقعة وما يترتب عليها من التزامات، نعلن قرار القيادة وقف العمل بالاتفاقيات الموقعة مع الجانب الإسرائيلي.

واضاف، انه سيتم البدء في "وضع آليات اعتبارا من الغد، لتشكيل لجنة لتنفيذ ذلك، عملا بقرارات المجلس المركزي الفلسطيني".

وجاء القرار القلسطيني بعد اقدام القوات الإسرائيلية، يوم الاثنين، على هدم منازل فلسطينيين تعتبرها "غير قانونية" جنوبي القدس الشرقية، وعلى مقربة من السياج الفاصل مع الضفة الغربية، في عملية أثارت تنديدا دوليا.

وقد وصفت السلطة الفلسطينية إقدام إسرائيل على هدم منازل فلسطينيين، بالمجزرة والتصعيد الخطير.

GAZA (Reuters) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced on Thursday that he would suspend all agreements signed with Israel in an unprecedented decision on rising tensions between the two sides.

Abbas said after an emergency meeting held by the Palestinian leadership at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah in the West Bank today (July 25, 2019) that "in the face of the insistence of the occupation authority to deny all signed agreements and their obligations, we announce the decision of the leadership to stop the agreements signed with the Israeli side .
.
He added that he will start "to develop mechanisms from tomorrow, to form a committee to implement this, pursuant to the decisions of the Palestinian Central Council."

The decision came after Israeli forces on Monday demolished homes of Palestinians deemed "illegal" south of East Jerusalem, and close to the separation fence with the West Bank, in a process that provoked international condemnation.

The Palestinian Authority has described Israel's demolition of Palestinian homes, massacre and serious escalation.
