البنك المركزي يصدر توجيها بشأن التعامل مع المشمولين بالعقوبات الأميركية
وجه البنك المركزي العراقي، الخميس، المصارف المجازة كافة والمؤسسات المالية غير المصرفية، بتجميد ومنع أي تعامل مالي أو مصرفي مع الاسماء المدرجة على قوائم العقوبات الأميركية.

جاء ذلك في وثيقة صادرة عن البنك، أمس الاربعاء، (24 تموز 2019) وتحمل توقيع نائب المحافظ وكالة منذر عبدالقادر الشيخلي، قال فيها، إلى المصارف المجازة كافة والمؤسسات المالية غير المصرفية: ان على مؤسساتكم معرفة الاسماء المدرجة على قوائم العقوبات الأميركية بتاريخ (17 تموز 2019)، وفي حالة وجود أي اسم لديه تعامل او حساب مع مؤسساتكم يتم تجميده ومنع اي تعامل مالي أو مصرفي معه".

وأضاف، وكذلك "منع حصوله على عملة الدولار وتزويد هذا البنك بكافة الحسابات المصرفية وبأي معلومات أخرى خاصة بهم".

يشار إلى ان رئيس الوزراء عادل عبدالمهدي، قد قال خلال مؤتمره الاسبوعي الثلاثاء الماضي، (23 تموز 2019)، إن "العقوبات التي فرضتها واشنطن ضد شخصيات عراقية سيتم إحالتها على مستشارين وقانونيين من اجل البت فيها"، مؤكدا أن "1267 قضية فساد محالة على محاكم النزاهة، إضافة إلى أوامر صادرة بحق 11 وزيرا ومن هم بدرجتهم".

يذكر ان قائمة العقوبات الأميركية الأخيرة شملت أربع شخصيات عراقية، وهم ريان الكلداني قائد فصيل "بابليون" التابع للحشد الشعبي، ووعد قدو زعيم فصيل "الشبك" في سهل نينوى، ونوفل العاكوب محافظ نينوى السابق، بالإضافة إلى محافظ صلاح الدين السابق، أحمد الجبوري (أبو مازن)، بعد اتهامها لهم بـ"انتهاك حقوق الإنسان وممارسات تنطوي على فساد".

The Central Bank of Iraq, on Thursday, authorized banks and non-bank financial institutions to freeze and prevent any financial or bank deal with the names listed on the US sanctions lists.

This came in a document issued by the bank on Wednesday (July 24, 2019) and signed by Deputy Governor Munther Abdulqader Al Sheikli, in which he said to all licensed banks and non-bank financial institutions: Your institutions should know the names listed on US sanctions lists on 17 2019), and in the case of any name has a deal or account with your institutions is frozen and the prevention of any financial deal or bank with him.

He added, as well as "to prevent access to the dollar currency and to provide this bank with all bank accounts and any other information of their own."

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, said during his weekly conference last Tuesday (July 23, 2019), that "the sanctions imposed by Washington against Iraqi personalities will be referred to the advisers and legal to decide," asserting that "1267 cases of corruption are attributed to Integrity Courts, in addition to orders issued against 11 ministers and those of their rank. "

The last US sanctions list included four Iraqi figures, namely Ryan Chaldean, leader of the popular Babylonian faction, Qado, leader of the Shabak faction in the Nineveh Plain, Nufal al-Aakoub, former governor of Nineveh, and Salah al-Din, Abu Mazen), after accusing them of "human rights violations and practices involving corruption".
